Obituary of Pearl F Nevin

Pearl F. (Slaght) Nevin, 92, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Autumn Winds of Oakland.

Pearl was born on September 14, 1926 in Lancaster, Wisconsin to John and Leona Slaght.  She spent most of her life in various Wisconsin cities until moving to Fort Atkinson for 30 years.  Pearl was employed at Melster’s for 30 plus years.

Among the things she enjoyed were baking, singing in a choir, keeping company with her family and friends, kissing babies, and just being our loving Pearl.  Pearl was genuinely gracious and helped-out whenever needed. She loved Jesus and her heart was bigger than the world.

Pearl is survived by her sisters, Lucille Olson of Janesville, Shirley (Roger) Eck of Tomah, Beverly Dahl of Cottage Grove, Karen (Vern) Lemon of Tennessee, Darlene (Ernie) Koehler of Racine; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Betty, Jerry, Loren, Sharon, Terry, and Carol.

The Memorial will take place on June 23rd starting at 1:00 at the Oakland Seventh Day Adventist Church on Advent Rd.

From Cambridge, WI take HWY 12 East, turn right onto HWY A, cross over HWY C and less than a mile down the road turn right onto Advent Road and follow it around the curves to the church on the left.
