I worked with Jeff many years ago and while i had not seen him for a long time, I can easily recall the memories. He left an impact and it was a pleasure to work with him. Always enjoyed our conversations and they usually ended in a laugh - great teammate.

I was Jeff’s team leader on one of his first projects (maybe his first) at McHugh Freeman — for Black & Decker down in SC. Jeff was a great mix of young talent, young energy and just the right amount of off beat humor and interests to add to the team character. We enjoyed many nights of poker on the road that continued well after we all came home and scattered to other projects. I always enjoyed catching up with Jeff when I would come back to town after I moved to MN. He always had a smile and his indomitable optimism about him. I’m glad and honored to have enjoyed his friendship in my life.

Jeff I remember travelling with you to Unilever when we were both at McHugh. You always had a bright attitude and a smile. I haven't seen you in awhile, but the earth is a little less with your passing.

Jeff’s friendship extends back over thirty-five years. He was one of the first members of the Raccoon’s Tree Wildlife Club, an affiliate of the National Wildlife Federation Ranger Rick group. He with about nine other friends would explore the biodiversity of the Lake Lorraine neighborhood, study the constellations, try to figure out how people predicted the weather before forecasters, walk the roads of the subdivision to pick up litter, riding our bikes to local lakes and nature preserves. At night Jeff walked down to our cottage in his Ninja gear, fending off bats flying in the night. He and his buddy Karl created their own adventures which sometimes involved the loss of something as they shot off rockets in Linnea Park, those rockets landing somewhere in the woods or a near-by cornfield. There was a time too when the two boys returned to the shore of Lake Lorraine, minus the small outboard motor that had been attached to the boat when they set out! We have lost Jeff much too soon, but he will always be remembered so very dearly by those who love him.

I worked with Jeff for around 15 years while at RedPrairie. He was a genuinely nice guy and he saved the day as a software engineer on my team many, many times. I remember one time out in Hershey PA where I told the customer what they wanted was impossible, and then Jeff had it ready by lunch - he was that type of guy. I'm truly sorry to hear that he passed away - he was the best of the best.
