Obituary of Jerry Kent Foust

Jerry Kent Foust, 74, of Cambridge passed away on December 10^th, 2020 at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

Jerry was born on September 21^st, 1946 in Madison to LaVerne and Pearl Isabel (Hinkel) Foust. He spent many of his early years in Madison, and eventually graduated from Madison East High School. On August 4^th, 1967, he married the love of his life, Deloris Hildy, in Fort Atkinson. He was a Marine and bravely served two tours in Vietnam. For 30 years, he made a career as an electronic technician at Madison Area Technical College, while also devoting his time as a volunteer fireman and EMT in McFarland for 10 years. He enjoyed making things with his hands and especially had a passion for woodworking.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Deloris; his brothers John (Nancy) Foust of Madison and James (Betty) Foust of Oregon, WI; his son Ryan (Tara) Foust; his daughter Lisa (John) Holloway; and his grandchildren Lauren and Ethan Foust and Ashlyn, Cameron, and Cora Holloway.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, Verne and Isabel.
