E. JOHN Rabe posted a condolence
Tuesday, April 12, 2022
Pat: Our sincere condolences to you and your family at this time of loss. You lost a wonderful husband, your children lost a very caring father, and all who knew Jake have lost a great friend. We ask God to ease your pain, hold your hand tightly as you heal, and give you Peace and His Blessings. Thank you Jake for touching our lives with your friendliness as we traveled with our families in years past, thank you for your faithfulness as we ushered together and you served on the Church Council at First English. Thank you for your competitiveness as we participated together on the softball field and the basketball court in Whitewater. You were a steady competitor and always gave your best.
It is my plan to be in Whitewater for the Celebration Of Life on June 4th. I am looking forward to seeing you and your family.
Sincerely, E. John Rabe and B. J. Douglass

Carla and Steve Winn posted a condolence

When Steve and I were in Whitewater in September, we learned that Jim was not doing well. We both have such fond memories of our years in Whitewater and are always sad when friends we knew back then develop health problems. Unfortunately, many have passed on and now, Jim. It was good to "pop in" on the old bridge club and see you as well as the others. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Pat.
