Obituary of Tyler M. Slak
Tyler M. Slak, age 22, of Fort Atkinson passed away at his home on Thursday, February 11, 2010 following a brave battle with Gastric Cancer.
He was born July 11, 1987 in Waukesha the son of Thomas and Eileen (Keppen) Slak. Tyler was a graduate of Fort Atkinson High School in 2005, and UW-Whitewater in 2010 earning a degree in information technology infrastructure. He was a competitive swimmer in high school earning trips to state in 2003 and 2005. In college he was a 4 year letter winner and a conference finalist in 2005-2006, and 2006-2007. Tyler is a UW-Whitewater record holder in 100 Butterfly and 100 Medley Relay. He was a Resident Assistant for 2 � years, and worked summers at Jellystone Campground as a life guard.
Tyler was a member of 1st United Methodist Church in Fort Atkinson where he participated in youth mission trips.
He is survived by his parents Thomas and Eileen of Fort Atkinson.

A celebration of Tyler�s life will take place from 4 � 7 pm on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 1st United Methodist Church, 320 S. Main Street, Fort Atkinson. A Service officiated by Rev. John W. Wells will begin at 7:00 pm.
