Obituary of Marvalene J. Miller

Marvalene J �Marvy� MILLER, age 76, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2009, at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. Marvy was born on April 12, 1933 in Vernon County, Wisconsin and grew up in Wonewoc, the daughter of Joseph and Sylvia (Liska) Bulin. She married Merwin "Codger" Lee Miller on October 10, 1953. Merwin preceded her in death on March 28, 1960. Marvy moved to Fort Atkinson in the 1960's with her children. She worked at Shop Rite Grocery Store for many years where she was known to all as "Marvy". She was even known to chase down shoplifters in the parking lot at the store. In her semi-retriement she worked as a bread server for the Fireside. On a sunny day you would find her walking on the bike trail or in her words �chasing around.� Despite her many challenges in life it was her strong will and faith that carried her through. Marvy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fort Atkinson. Surviving are: Daughter: Jayne (Jay Kunstman) Coyle, Verona, WI, daughter-in-law: Lori (Pat) Mueller, Chilton, WI and a Sister: Lillian Sanders. Marvy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her son, Randall Scott Miller. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at 1:00PM at the First United Methodist Church, Fort Atkinson with Rev. John W. Wells officiating. Burial will be at 10:00AM on Thursday, July 23, 2009 in the Pine Eden Cemetery, Wonewoc, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 10:00AM on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at the church until the services.
