Obituary of Eowyn Mai Klettke

Eowyn "Winnie" Mai Klettke was born May 29, 2009 at 3:01p.m. to parents Alex and Meghan Klettke at the Columbia Center of Mequon, WI. She weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce and was 20 � inches long. Winnie's family was blessed to have her for 25 days before passing through the gates of heaven on the morning of June 23, 2009 at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Winnie experienced the most loving and phenomenal care from her medical teams at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Milwaukee and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. She enjoyed kangaroo time, holding hands, listening to many genres of music, cuddling with mama and daddy, listening to her daddy tell stories (especially Dr. Seuss), wiggle room, being pampered, "belly meat," hugs, kisses, and numerable "I love you's." Winnie is forever loved by her mama and daddy, puppy Joe, grandparents Ken and Patti Klettke and Tom and Cathey Sloane, great-grandparents, godparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and close family friends. Eowyn will always be her parents' gift from God, a miracle that is now at peace in the kingdom of heaven. A visitation for Eowyn Mai will be held Saturday, June 27 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Nitardy Funeral Home in Fort Atkinson with a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of either Children's Hospital of� Wisconsin or Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Milwaukee.
