Obituary of Michael Arthur Agen

Michael A. Agen, 60, Lake Mills, passed away unexpectedly in Omaha, NE.

Michael was born on August 10, 1962 to Donald and Janet (Olson) Agen at Fort Memorial Hospital in Fort Atkinson, WI. He graduated from Palmyra High School in 1981.  Michael married Nancy Zimmerman on April 12, 2002.  He was employed as an over the road truck driver for many years.  He worked for W&A Distribution, Fort Transportation and Fort Trans.  He and Nancy owned M&N Transport LLC, Lake Mills.  Michael worked his earlier years for Andes Candies and S&R Eggs.  Michael also worked as an EMT and firefighter for 15 years with the Village of Palmyra as well as Bell Ambulance in Milwaukee.  He loved trucking and traveling with his dog Bentley at his side.  He also looked forward to time at home with Nancy.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Nancy of Lake Mills; children, Brennan (Ashley) Agen of Wisconsin Rapids and their children Sawyer and Kelsie, Curtis Agen of Rudolph, WI; step-children, Nicholas (Becky) Franks of Gold Hill, OR and their children Christian and Levi Franks, Shannon Franks of Newport News, VA; sister, Diane (Terri) Hill, Palmyra, WI and other nieces, aunt and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and several aunts and uncles.  Michael will be deeply missed by all who loved him.  He was a caring and loving father and husband.  Rest in peace my love.  Per Michael’s wishes there will be no funeral services.  Online condolences may be made at www.nitardyfuneralhome.com.  Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.
